Embracing our Roots, Expanding our Vision
Lasha was inspired by his own childhood coach and mentor, Vazha Kvaratkhelia, recognized for being the first official talent scout from the Caucasus region. Vazha discovered the now famous player Nikoloz Tskitishvili, a 1st-round NBA draft-pick in 2002, in addition to many other well-known basketball players in European leagues, and at American Universities.
Today, Lasha honors his coach's legacy while continuing to carve out his own path, leaving a lasting impact in the basketball community

Lasha Parghalava
International Basketball Scout & Trainer
Lasha Parghalava is a globally recognized basketball scout and trainer who hails from the country of Georgia, now based in Brooklyn, New York.
His journey in the U.S. began with a commitment to both education and basketball, competing at the high school, junior college, NCAA Division I, and Division II levels. Following his collegiate career, Lasha played professionally for nine years, including representing the Georgian National Team.
Today, he is a managing partner at Brooklyn Basketball Academy, focusing on personal training, skill development, and global talent scouting. With a deep passion for player development, he has successfully managed world-renowned youth basketball programs and played a key role in placing top-international student-athletes at premiere high schools and universities throughout the U.S. and Europe.
Lasha's experience extends to coaching and managing at Nike Rise Academy in Shanghai, China, further strengthening his global reach in the basketball community. He continues to cultivate strong industry connections, helping athletes achieve their highest potential on and off the court.
